Kyle Allen
Junior Golf Director
Kyle Allen is a dedicated teaching professional with a rich background in physical education, coaching, and the golf industry. A graduate of Springfield College (Class of 2018-2019) with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kyle also spent four years as a valued member of the college baseball team, honing his athletic skills and team leadership.
Teaching Experience: Kyle spent four years as a para educator in Newport, Rhode Island, working with students aged 9-13. His experience in this role equipped him with the skills to support and inspire young learners, particularly those requiring personalized educational approaches.
Coaching Experience: Kyle has been deeply involved in coaching for several years. He served as an assistant varsity baseball coach for two years, bringing his athletic experience and leadership to the team. Additionally, Kyle has been actively engaged with Special Olympics throughout his life, contributing to various sports and supporting athletes with special needs.
Golf Industry Experience: Kyle’s connection to the golf industry is rooted in his upbringing at the Misquamicut Club Golf Course, where he first learned to play. His hands-on experience includes:
- Working on the grounds crew at both Winnapaug and Misquamicut Club Golf Courses
- Serving as a starter, ensuring smooth operations on the course
- Four years of caddying at the prestigious Newport Country Club
- Attending caddy school to refine his skills and knowledge of the sport
Newell Golf: In 2024, Kyle joined Newell Golf, bringing his teaching expertise to the golf school. He earned his US Kids certification, teaches private lessons, and coaches the PGA Jr. League, helping young golfers develop their skills and passion for the game.
Kyle’s diverse background in education, coaching, and golf reflects his commitment to fostering growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all his endeavors.
