Mark Moore is a class A PGA Professional that has been teaching golf professionally for over 25 years, and his passion for the game continues to be fueled by the success of his students.  Whether it’s breaking 90, earning college scholarships, winning club championships, or even capturing Tour titles.  Born and raised in Northern Louisiana, Mark grew up playing golf with his dad and brother.  After receiving seven years of instruction from renowned coach Hank Haney in the mid-1990s, Mark went on to play professionally for two years.  A wrist injury ended his playing career but opened the door to his true calling: coaching. 

Mark quickly earned a reputation for his innovative and practical approach to swing dynamics, attracting students from all levels, beginners to aspiring pros. His success as an instructor led to a pivotal career milestone when Hank Haney selected him to manage two of his premier golf schools.  Under Mark’s leadership, these academies thrived, known for both their student success and the development of top-tier teaching professionals.  Mark played a central role in designing and leading instructor training programs, shaping the careers of many teachers who carried forward Haney’s legacy.

Among Mark’s proudest accomplishments are helping two students earn their PGA Tour cards, including one who finished #1 on the Nationwide Tour money list in 2007.  His insights draw from every corner of the golf world, as a student, a professional player, a Tour caddie, and a seasoned instructor.  

Mark’s work has been featured in Golfweek, Golf Magazine, and other leading publications, reflecting his standing as a respected voice in golf instruction.

Mark’s teaching philosophy centers on ball flight correction and clear, simple cause-and-effect explanations.  He helps students understand the “why” behind their misses and how to fix them.  Lessons with Mark aren’t just about better shots; they’re about gaining the knowledge and confidence to self-correct and continue improving long after the lesson ends.
