Matt Wilkins
Athletic Trainer & Performance Specialist
Matt Wilkins is a board-certified, licensed Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning specialist, with a master’s in Exercise Physiology, who has built his career around elevating athletes, especially golfers, through scientifically grounded, holistic performance training. Based in Florida, Matt combines deep academic credentials with hands-on experience in competitive sport fitness, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development.
Matt’s approach centers on the idea that golfers are athletes first. Whether youth, high school, adult, or professional, he believes performance on the course is deeply tied to how one moves, recovers, sleeps, and nourishes the body. His programs are structured not just to improve distance, but to build power, movement quality, mobility, endurance, and longevity.
Matt has been training, treating, and consulting with athletes since 2017, across multiples sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, auto racing, gymnastics, dance, etc.) as well as working with executives, celebrities, and artists pursuing physical wellness.
In golf specifically, he has worked with youth, high school, and professional golfers, including those on the Latin American PGA and European PGA Tours, as well as the Senior PGA Tour.
Matt Wilkins brings a rare blend of medical/sports science expertise, real-world performance experience and golf-specific specialization. He’s equally comfortable diagnosing movement deficits, prescribing rehab and strength programs, optimizing athletic development, and helping on the margins-recovering from injury, building confidence, improving mobility-to help athletes perform better, feel better, and stay healthier for longer.
